Tom Wilkinson, Ed.D.
Shamanic Energy Medicine, Artist, Teacher
ABOUT TOM: He has been engaged in various forms of non-traditional and energetic healing for over 25 years and his holistic approach to life stems from his belief in the interconnectedness of all things. The indigenous healing practices of Peru’s medicine women and men form the lineage of his shamanic healing education. After a life as an artist and corporate/college/university educator, he re-awakened to the understanding that he had been called to do this work again.

Tom is a graduate of the Gateway School of Shamanism under Deborah Wray, former senior faculty for Dr. Alberto Villoldo’s Healing The Light Body School. Additionally, he has completed advanced graduate programs in dream manifestation. In early 2013, he received the Munay-ki nine Empowerment rites based on the initiatory practices of the Q’ero shamans of Peru, and he studied in Peru with Don Theo Parades, Ph.D., a renowned anthropologist and Shaman. Tom has participated in shamanic ceremonies in numerous sites in Peru including the Temple of Wiracocha, Pisac, Lake Titicaca, Colca Canyon, and Machu Picchu. He has participated in shamanic energy healing training with Sandra Ingerman and Alberto Villoldo, and was engaged in Hank Wesselman’s last teachings as part of the Shamanic Visionary Circle year long program.

Tom served as Visiting Shaman for Reiki Journey - Alternative and Holistic Health in Blacksburg, Virginia and assisted teaching second year students in the Gateway School of Shamanism in Charlottesville, Virginia. He will be teaching “Shamanic Healing Wisdom and Practices” as part of the Certified Practitioner for Holistic Health program of Nibana School Of Wisdom in Annapolis, Maryland.

ABOUT ANNEMARIE : Annemarie is a leadership coach & high-performance coach for female leaders, helping them get their time & passion back.

She came from the Netherlands as a registered nurse and worked at Johns Hopkins Hospital for many years, where she also completed her master’s degree in nursing with an emphasis in ethics and nursing research.
​
As a nurse leader and a recipient of the Shirley Somer Award, she has always been dedicated to professional nursing and innovation in the nursing field.
​
The shift to serial entrepreneur and business owner happened in 2013 when a healing seminar changed the trajectory of her life. She started her coaching and healing work for the empowerment of women, leaving bedside nursing behind and focusing on alternative healing modalities.
​
Currently trained in several healing, hypnotic coaching and breathwork therapies, Annemarie has now developed her own Flow method, helping leaders shift conscious, subconscious, and super conscious patterns in their lives, to achieve lasting change & success.

Her clients have shifted traumatic patterns, become better intuitive leaders, grown their businesses, and above all have gotten their time back to do the things they love to do!

She loves to explore the world with her family, and now also provides in depth, transformative FLOW workshops & retreats globally, where women restore and rediscover what makes them truly feel alive and passionate about their lives!

ABOUT JESS : I am new to the holistic healing path, but I am immensely excited to be sharing my passions at Nibana, while I am also on my own path of learning and evolving.
I am currently in training for both sex and relationship coaching as well as holistic health and wellness. I bring with me a background in gender, women's and sexuality studies that was fostered through my doctoral work at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (2017) and continued scholarly work in sexuality and sexual expression, with book-length publications as well as articles in peer reviewed journals.

I began deeply exploring my spirituality around the same time as I completed my doctoral degree, seeking healing and guidance after the stress and demands of the process. At the end of my doctoral work, I was feeling depleted, lost, and in need of connection with power I could feel all around me.
​
As of today, I am still a seeker and am on a journey to learn more about my purpose and spiritual path. Sexuality and spirituality intersect for me, and I am continually drawn back to the connection between, and importance among, these aspects of the self. An empath, educator, and coach, I am excited to share with clients their own journeys toward healing, reclamation, and transformation. I am looking forward to offering women's empowerment training, sex and relationship coaching, and healing around intimacy.

ABOUT SUE : Sue is a lifelong health and wellness follower and a long-time yoga student. Now later in life with retirement nearing and the kids grown she has the space to transform from student to practitioner. A Kundalini yoga class in 2021 changed her life, putting her on a journey of profound healing, self-discovery and acceptance. Since then she has become hooked!
Kundalini yoga has allowed her to connect to her authentic self, shed limiting beliefs and falsehoods in order to find joy and loving purpose in life. She is so excited to share with you this amazing practice so you too, can reap the benefits in the same way she has been able to experience them.
She is starting to Intern at Nibana for both her Kundalini Teacher Certification to be completed in Spring of 2026 with the Kundalini Yoga School in the Netherlands. But also for her Holistic Health & Wellness Practitioner Certification that she is studying with the Nibana School Of Wisdom to be completed by Fall in 2025. Sue has also completed her Mastery Level of Cosmic Light™ Reiki Practitioner Training having become an exceptional Cosmic Reiki® Practitioner.
You will see that her offerings do reflect her Pre-Certification status until she becomes fully certified. Nicky who is a Kundalini certified Yoga Instructor will be supervising all classes.
